Oregon Dollhouse and Miniatures

I may grow older but I refuse to grow up

I am a 60+ year old wife, mother and grandmother.  My two grand daughters call me Dawa.  When I am not working on miniatures I am at the Molalla Area Historical Society, planning the craft fair at my church or at my booth at the Hoffman House Antique Mall in Molalla, Oregon. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11ish to 5ish.  I can usually be found there all day on Tuesday.

I enjoyed miniatures as a child (into my teens) with my Barbie dolls.  After I married in 1978 and had our son I didn't have time for dolls anymore.  I got back into miniatures late in life when people came into my consignment shop looking for accessories for the covered wagon projects all Oregon 4th graders have to do (or it seems that way).  I still have Covered Wagon Provision Kits available at the End Of the Oregon Trail Interpretative Center in Oregon City.

I am a general contractor on a small scale.  I help people with construction projects in their dollhouses.  Mostly I do decorating (wallpaper, flooring, etc.), and wiring and lights.

Along with miniatures I enjoy crocheting for my little girls, sewing, painting and reading.
