at the Pioneer Adult Community Center in Oregon City.
We are going to be a regular activity on the calendar of the Community Center. All are welcome to come and check it out. For FREE.
Bring your own refreshment and a mini project or question.
Report from the 1st meeting
There were 8 people at the meeting on June 17th. We all had fun getting to know each other.
We discussed our ideas for the group and decided we want to share ideas and problems. Some of the things we want learn about are:
- Curtain rods: how to make them and attach to the walls
- Dressing beds
- What fabrics are the best to use.
- Learn more about fabric to put in your color printer
- Explore round wire vs. tape wire
- Practice with paper clay, Magic Brick, polymer clay, etc
We also will have a magazine share and swap in the future.
On July 21st we are each bringing our own projects to work on and share with the group. Alecia and Sheri are going to each start a room box to work on in the group. Alecia wants to learn about wiring.
We will talk about a name for this group in July. For now it will be the Oregon Dollhouse Mini Club on the calendar.
